Job Summary

The international Project Manager will be involved in coordinating all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that projects meet the required quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, particularly in the energy or industrial sectors, with a focus on LPG or related systems.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Lead the planning and execution of LPG installation projects or any other projects, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within financial constraints. Oversee resource allocation, ensuring the right skills and equipment are available at each project stage.
  • Cross-functional Team Leadership: Manage a diverse, cross-functional team of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Foster collaboration among team members and ensure effective communication and problem-solving across international teams.
  • International Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and local authorities in project locations. Address concerns and manage expectations to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Identify potential risks throughout the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, safety standards, and international best practices in LPG installations.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all installations meet the highest quality standards and adhere to industry guidelines for safety and operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Monitor project performance, timelines, and milestones, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure successful completion.
  • Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and design for installation work.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs for operations, maintenance, and safety, and ensure that the company meets all quality and safety standards.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Develop accurate project cost estimates, considering materials, labor, and other expenses.
  • Evaluate engineering solutions and project designs to ensure cost efficiency and feasibility.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and cost estimates for prospective projects.
  • Participate in tenders to obtain new projects. 
  • Ensure engineering designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Facilitate technical discussions to address client queries and ensure alignment on project solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of the Energy & Gas industry, including pipelines, processing plants, and storage facilities, to project planning and execution.

Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience, Cost Estimation, and Project Execution preferably in international or cross-border projects.
  • Experience in sales coordination, cost estimation, or engineering solutions is highly desirable.

SKILLS & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of the Mechanical & Electrical principles and the methods and safety requirements applicable to the work.
  • Knowledge and experience in data analysis for equipment selection
  • High skills and knowledge of Computer & Designing programs.
  • Good communication & motivational skills
  • Good knowledge in safety
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to work across time zones and travel internationally as required.
